To use a very current pop culture reference, Bright Brewery appears to be on something of an Eras Tour of their own at the moment. OK, Pumpkin American Brown Ale might be brewed for Halloween, but its design hitches a ride to the Wild West, while the liquid provides plenty of lasting richness and toasted flavors. Pouring a little closer to black than brown, there's also quite a resinous hit from the Columbus hops and soft roasted coffee.
On the other hand, Miami Weisse sets us in the purely sleek stylings of the 1980s. Sure, who knows how many mango ice cream sours they were drinking in Florida four decades ago, but if this one jumped back in time, they'd find it stacked with mango, while vanilla and a lasting sweetness are balanced against the kind of tartness you might find in a gelato.
