Broulee Brewhouse put out some of the cheeriest and most eye-catching cans you'll come across anywhere in Australia, each putting their brewery mascot to work at a variety of activities. The XPA (upon which said black cockatoo is indulging in a spot of sky-diving) is arguably the loudest of the bunch (admittedly with stiff competition) courtesy of its hot pink upper half. It's a colour choice I appreciate as, while I'm nothing like brewer Ian Watson on this front, I do think of Mosaic hops as bringing pink-purple vibes (probably due to their habit of conjuring candied berry characters).
And this couldn't be much more of a Mosaic showcase if it tried, with those red berry / blackcurrant aromas and flavours at XPA's core. It pours like a hazy pale with the berries accompanied by some juicy orange citrus and with a pleasing clip at its end boosting repeatability.
