Lager made its debut as part of Fox Friday's new-look core range in winter 2024, as they moved to 375ml cans and a year-round offering of six. For the most part, that lineup is hop-forward, with this beer the exception, brewed with classic European lager hop Hallertauer Mittelfrüh and the Weihenstephan lager yeast strain.
Malt flavours are to the fore – soft dough and crisp crackers – with floral, lightly spicy / straw-like hop aromas and flavours in attendance too. It pours pale, bright and with a lively herbal bitterness, bringing welcome familiarity.
