They appear to be dancing with the devil in more ways than one at Tallboy & Moose, with the Preston brewpub creating two beers with knowing nods. First up is Kiwi Kush which uses some of New Zealand's finest green... hops. The West Coast IPA is one built with Nelson Sauvin, Rakau and Motueka, a trio which comes together in a lively medley of mango, nectarine and pine. Pouring with an orange glow, there's also a smoothness at play that puts the beer a little more into the hazy camp before a bitter bite kicks in.
Then there’s a beer brewed in Tribute to the greatest stout in the world, one made so well that it could impress a demon. It’s hard to know if its release was perfectly timed or not given Tenacious D appear to have been in the news recently (let's not go into it here but sometimes the news makes me wonder if we're living in The Matrix*). What is for certain is you’ll find no shortage of richness here: this smooth stout gives hefty notes of chocolate malt balanced by espresso, roasted biscuits and a bitter finish.

*Which, coincidentally, is a near perfect film that would have been made better by an appearance from Jack Black.
