Noodledoof Hazy Pale

Hazy pales have become core range staples for many breweries in the 2020s and here Noodledoof slide one into their core range alongside their own longtime staple, Australian Pale Ale. It's a beer they've released before, but after tweaking the recipe along the way, this is the one they've landed upon.

The beer lands in the glass looking like a lemon meringue without the base, with Galaxy and Citra hops ensuring it’s all about the citrus and stonefruit – passionfruit and OJ to the fore. And, while the palate is pretty soft, as the style dictates, it’s given a crispness by a grapefruit rind-like bite that wraps up a beer that drinks a bit bigger than its 4.4 percent ABV might suggest.
