Bonehead George Zwickelbier & Hazy Shade of Winter

From the great tradition of lager to the days when vikings used to travel the world playing guitar, Bonehead Brewing have tapped into a bygone era with two releases. George Zwickelbier is an unfiltered lager who’s enjoyed an extended lagering period and makes you feel like you’re drinking beer in some wonderful German village while listening to Wham! (well, that's just thanks to the can really). Like that imagined village, the beer’s a truly subtle delight too and pours with a slight haze with creamy texture, cereal and grainy notes and a floral, bitter finish.

Then there’s the guitar playing vikings on a ship that form Hazy Shades of Winter. It's a hazy IPA willed into exitence by Galaxy, Luminosa and Ahhroma hops and Norway’s greatest means of wielding soft power since a-ha: Kveik. Thanks to both the yeast and those hops, there's no shortage of tropical shades with mango, guava and pineapple all delightfully fresh as they dive into a slick and smooth beer that's as juicy as they come.
