Clean Sweep isn't formally part of Fox Friday's core range, but it's a beer they love enough to keep it coming back every now and then. So what is it that they – and, clearly, enough of their fans – love about it?
Well, for one, you could be stood in a Southern German hop field at harvest time, such is the distinct nature of the aromas that hit as soon as this pilsner splashes down in your glass: it’s all straw, cut grass and faint citrus blossom on the nose courtesy of Herkules, Tettnang and Spalt Select hops.
Add in crisp, cracker-like malts aided by a cleansing carbonation / pH level combo and you've got refreshingness (is that even a word?) in a can right there.
